The unfinished ending

The project ends. Then where do the photos live?

You spend weeks — sometimes months — rescuing a family’s entire photographic history. Then the finished collection gets handed back… to what, exactly?

i.

A drive in a drawer

Hard drives fail silently, get lost in moves, and nobody checks a backup that nobody remembers exists. Your best work, one dead disk from gone.

ii.

A cloud they don’t control

Subscriptions lapse. Terms change. And your privacy-anxious clients are increasingly uneasy about their family’s faces training someone else’s AI.

iii.

An heir with a login problem

When the account holder is gone, the passwords go with them. A collection locked in someone else’s cloud is not an heirloom — it’s a liability.

Your best work deserves a permanent home.

The Vault

A private vault for the collection you built

A small, quiet appliance that lives in the client’s home and holds their entire collection — with the modern search experience they expect, minus the cloud they don’t.

Searchable like the big clouds

Type beach 2019 and the photos appear. Faces, places, and things — recognized and searched entirely on the device, in the house.

Nothing leaves the house

Photos never touch a big-tech server. The family’s memories stay physically in the family’s home — with an optional encrypted archive for true disaster protection.

Backed up without anyone thinking about it

Automatic local backups plus an encrypted offsite archive. The 3-2-1 rule your industry preaches, running quietly every night.

Professionally maintained, never locked in

The vault reports its own health — never its photos — under the Care Plan, with updates and priority support included. Built on standard hardware and open-source software; the data exports as plain files, so no one is ever trapped.

VAULT SECURED

Type a word. Watch the photos appear. Served from their living room.

The finishing touch

How it works with your projects

01

You finish the project

Curate, organize, and deliver the collection exactly the way you do today. Nothing about your craft changes.

02

We install, white glove

Each vault is built to order, delivered, and set up in the client’s home — full migration included. You never touch a cable.

03

You stay the hero

The collection lives on beautifully, the vault reports its health to us, and the client remembers who made it all permanent. You earn on every install — and on every month after.

Founding partners

The deliverable that makes your project permanent

We’re partnering with two or three professional photo managers as founding partners for 2026. You bring the trust and the finished collections; we bring the vault and everything technical.

  • i.Commission on every vault you place, plus a recurring share of the monthly Care Plan — income that continues after the project ends.
  • ii.Zero technical obligation. Installation, upkeep, updates, and support are handled entirely by us. Your client calls us, not you.
  • iii.Founding-client pricing for your clients, in exchange for honest feedback and a testimonial once they’re delighted.
  • iv.A true differentiator. Be the organizer whose projects come with a private, professionally maintained home — not a hard drive and a handshake.

Fair questions

Asked by every good organizer

My clients already use Google Photos or iCloud. Why add this?+
Keep them — the cloud stays as a convenience copy. MemoryVault is the private master archive: the one place the whole finished collection lives, in the client’s custody, regardless of what any subscription or terms-of-service does next. And for clients uneasy about AI training on their family’s faces, “nothing leaves the house” tends to settle the question.
What happens if it breaks — or if you disappear?+
The vault runs standard, widely used open-source software on standard hardware. Any competent technician can service it, and every photo is stored as plain, exportable files — no proprietary format, no lock-in. And under the Care Plan the vault reports its own health — disk status, backups, updates; never the photos themselves — so most issues are fixed before anyone notices them.
What if a client stops paying the Care Plan?+
The vault keeps working. Photos stay searchable, nightly local and USB backups keep running, and every file remains theirs in plain, exportable form. What ends is what the plan pays for: health monitoring, updates, priority support, and the managed offsite archive. No hostage-taking — that’s a promise we can make precisely because the vault was built to stand on its own.
I’m not technical. What exactly would I have to support?+
Nothing. That’s the point. You never install it, configure it, or troubleshoot it. We build it, deliver it, migrate the collection, and answer the phone when grandma can’t find the wedding album. You get the credit for recommending it.
Couldn’t a client just buy a $220 backup box?+
They could — and it would sit in the shopping cart, or worse, in a closet, unconfigured. Nobody migrates thirty years of photos into it, sets up proper backups, or supports it afterward. The box is 20% of the value. The white-glove install, the migration, and the ongoing human watching over it are the other 80%.
Is this priced for my clients?+
Your clients invest $1,500–5,000+ to have their collections professionally organized. The vault is the deliverable that makes that investment permanent — and the monthly Care Plan costs less than Netflix plus an iCloud family plan. It’s the ending the project deserves, priced like the rest of the project.

A real person, on the other end

Built, installed, and watched over by the founder

I’m Tim Wooten. I’ve spent my career running technical support organizations — building the kind of teams people call when something that truly matters is on the line. MemoryVault is what happened when I pointed that obsession at the family photo problem.

Every vault is built to order and installed by me, personally. Every vault reports its health — and only its health — back to my own infrastructure. When a client calls, they get the person who built their vault — not a ticket queue.
